About the Conference

Madras Institue of Technology, Anna University and CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Center(CSIR-SERC), Chennai are jointly organizing the 5th National Conference on Wind Tunnel Testing(NCWT-05) during 16-17 March,2017. First National Conference was held at IIT-Kanpur in July 2007, the 2nd National Conference was held at NAL, Banglore in 2009 and 3rd National Conference was held at VSSC, Trivandrum in 2013. The 4th National Conference was held at DRDL, Hyderabad during 19-20 March,2015. The objective of this conference is to bring professionals in the area of Wind Tunnel Testing in the country together from Aerospace Industries, R&D organizations and Academic institutions to share the advances of Experimental Aerodynamics. NCWT-05, which is the fifth in series, is jointly organized by Madras Institute of Technology,Anna University Chennai and CSIR-SERC,Chennai. The conference will provide a National Forum to discuss the current status and future challenges of wind tunnel testing in India and debate stratergies towards sustained developmental activities in the area of Wind Tunnel Test Techniques and experimental research pertaining to various stratergic, industrial and academic domains. The conference will consist of invited talk, contributed papers and panel discussions.
